Cheryl Supernavage (Editor) is a Sophomore Actuarial Science major with a passion for English. She is a part of the Business Honors Program, the Baccalaureate Honors Program, and the Actuarial Science Club. Aside from her love of numbers, she absolutely loves to read and write, and some of her other hobbies include playing the piano, singing, playing video games, driving, and watching soap operas. She also has an obsession with Vera Bradley handbags and tries not to spend all her hard-earned money from working at a florist on them. Cheryl is extremely close with her family and boyfriend and has a strong love for animals, especially her three dogs and two cats. The one saying that Cheryl lives by is “honesty is the best policy.”
Elizabeth Ryan (Copy Editor) is a senior English Writing and American Studies double major with a Baccalaureate Honors Program concentration. She is the secretary of Writer’s Block and a member of Sigma Tau Delta. Her literary aspirations began in third grade when she wrote a short story from the perspective of a flea named Ashley. She spends most of her time riding horses and hopes to write for an equestrian publication someday.

Jena Cantwell (Public Relations Officer) is a graduating senior majoring in English writing with a minor in Psychology. She is also a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. After she graduates she hopes to work in publishing for either books or magazines (ideally fashion magazines). She will always remember all the wonderful times she had at Rider and all the amazing friends she made along the way. She wishes the future Venture staff great success and hopes that more wonderful submissions keep coming in from the students of Rider University. Good luck and congratulations class of 2008.
Karen Doerfer (Public Relations Officer) is a Junior Journalism major with a track in Public Relations and a minor in Event Planning. She is also on the executive board for the Student Entertainment Council. Other campus organizations she is in include: the Public Relations Society, the Event Planning Society, and the Residence Hall Association. Karen enjoys the Jersey Shore and milkshakes. She cringes when people do not recycle, and she recommends that students get involved on campus and also read The Five People You Meet in Heaven.
Nicole States (Public Relations Officer) is a Junior Journalism major with a track in Public Relations and two minors; one in Event Planning and the other in Advertising. She is also the Daytime chair for the Student Entertainment Council as well as being involved in the Public Relations Society, the Event Planning Society, and the Residence Hall Association. Nicole is a tree-hugging hippie who sings Tegan and Sara when she is sad and quotes Andy Warhol because he is a genius.
Marie Zaccaria is a graduating senior with a Secondary Education and English double major at Rider. She is currently student teaching at a high school where she hopes to be a fulltime English teacher by September. In her spare time, which is currently lacking, she loves to read, bake, and go for long runs. Marie hopes to one day move from the classroom to an administrative position or fill one of her many goals of working for a popular magazine.
Tracy Harden (Webmaster) is a junior who is currently a double major in English (with a Writing concentration) and Psychology, although this is soon to change due to complete and utter lack of time. She is a member of the Psychology Club and works on campus. In her spare time, she prefers to read, daydream, write, and draw, the latter two with varying degrees of success. Tracy is very much looking forward to graduating, although she accepts that unfortunately, this is more than a year away and she will just have to deal with this reality somehow. In the meantime, she will persevere, buoyed by her love of music and books and a hopeless addiction to Chinese food.
