Dr. Jia Shen is an Assistant
Professor of Computer and
Information Systems in the College
of Business Administration at Rider
University. She holds the Ph.D. in Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), the
M.S. in Information Systems from NJIT, and the B.S. in Computer Science and
Engineering from the Beijing
University of Technology. She was an Assistant Professor at the New York Institute of Technology from 2005 to
2007. Her current research interests include Social Computing, E-Commerce,
Human Computer Interaction, Online Learning, and Ubiquitous Computing.
Dr. Shen's teaching interests include Management
Information Systems, Human Computer Interaction, E-commerce, and Database
Management Systems.
